Saw \The Sound of Music\. Originally had tickets booked for April, but the show got postponed due to covid-19. Open now, but only seating 200 out of 1400 seats per show. Very impressed by all safety measures taken. Show was amazing as well!

A beautiful traditional theatre in the heart of Oslo. Great shows and staff Recommended

One of the best places to see big production musicals and great stand up. It's a beautiful old building, absolutely gorgeous, but this also mean small seats, so longlegged people might be a bit uncomfortable. But the shows put up are world class. Well-known musicals, translated into Norwegian, internationally known stand-up comics and wonderful drag shows. Get your tickets early. many shows here sells out quickly.

Wonderful theatre building in central Oslo presenting both local and international musicals, shows, drama, comedians and more. Cloakrooms are available inside the main door, with a main bar up the stairs, serving drinks and snacks before the show and at the interval. For large gigs, there are additional mini-bars at each balcony entrance: left and right. Tickets available online or in the box office. Mixture of Norwegian language and English shows: ask the box office staff of you're not sure - they're helpful, friendly and multilingual. Looking forward to attending many more shows here in the future.
