Great place to visit if you are inspired by Amundsen expeditions. The area is pretty spectacular and great for hiking.

The place is beautifully. Situated at the bay area in the woods. You should definitely park further up and walk down the road. What makes this place special is that it was home of world famous polar explorer \Roald Amundsen\. The day I visited was a \ once in a lifetime\ moment. After 100 years his ship \Maud\ returning to norway.

Fascinating to see where Amundsen made his home in Norway. A home with a magnificent view but far from the beaten track. The house was not open when we visited.

Even Tveråmo

Fin eiendom med villa ved sjøen nært hovedstaden. Historisk sted, og hjem til en av verdens største eventyrere og polfarere. Overraskende mange turgående besøkende en tidlig søndag formiddag midt i oktober. Museet burde jo bare ha vært åpent. At det er stengt trekker ned.
