Beautiful place to walk and relax. Also to appreciate many different vegetation from around the world. Is good to visit in different seasons as well.

A great place to visit, especially if you're a natur enthusiast.
I love it here! You can walk around and see the different kind of trees and plants, and some of the plant-houses are free to enter and then its like coming to a new world. I strongly recoment coming to this place at least tree times while it's summer, fall, winter and spring. You can see how the season changes the nature! :D
This is such a great place! It's a beautiful park, and it's free. You can walk your dog, go for a stroll, have a picnic with friends or family, or play botanist and really learn a lot. The garden in divided into sections where you have a Viking section, you have redliated plants, blacklisted plants, tropical plants, and lots more. There is also a garden specifically for people suffering from dementia. Of course the section is open to everyone just as the rest of the park, but it's full of garden plants that used to be very popular back in the day. Those flowers are usually bright in colour and have a strong, but very pleasant smell, which is designed to jolt the memory. My personal favourite still is the section with poisonous plants and the mountain garden. The former because it's exciting and the latter because it's incredibly beautiful with water flowing down a small hill and small mountain flowers growing around it. This is by far one of my favourite places in all of Oslo
It's a very fascinating museum and educational as well
Great exhibition of scandinavian fauna and prehistoric beings
