Super nice and diverse botanical garden in Oslo, totally perfect to relax and walk, and, why not? Making some pictures.

Always nice to take a walk here!
A wonderful botanical garden. Nice to visit on a sunny day. Handwerk cafe is a good place to stop for a coffee/lunch if weather allows to sit outside.
Beautiful botanical garden not too far from the city centre. Sadly some of the buildings were closed due to Corona, but the outside gardens and such are so pretty. A nice break from the busy city streets
Beautiful location for a walk, both summer and winter.
One of the best parks in town, with a huge variety of plants from many different ecosystems. Impeccable kept. A place to visit, and is free entry, but not a place to go for a picnic on the grass. Some benches and tables are available, and few lawns too, but in general a more regulated park, with very good reasons. The cafe is great, but crowded in the weekends. Good museum too. Amazing spot to relax and meditate or read a book, great for couples and families with small kids. During wintertime still amazing if there is snow, and the tropical greenhouses are really nice. But obviously best enjoyed during the good season
Somewhat disappointing for a botanical garden. While the garden has great potential, it is not as well organized as some of the other botanical gardens we’ve visited world over and definitely in need of some TLC. Lots of areas were overrun by weeds and other wild growth. Other areas were in desperate need of pruning and cleaning. If you visiting Oslo, your time is better spent elsewhere. If you do decide to visit, allow for an hour or so to explore all parts.
From artificial water falls to rainbows and plants, what you do t have there? I love being there and it is so beautiful! Even you have birds sitting next to you if u r eating something.
