The place is very nice and surprisingly spacious. Fits a good amount of people with upstairs sitting. Service is nice. Extensive wine menu. Set course dinners and menu a la carta. Had the Christmas set menu of 5 dishes. Everything was delicious (even the bread and butter) and delicate up until dessert, which as less delicate and elegant as the previous dishes.

It’s a lovely French place. We have been visiting since its opening ca. 14 years ago. At the beginning it’s a posh trendy place requires booking ahead, now it’s a relaxing neighborhood nice restaurant. Food of course French, more focus on taste than only presentation, as shown in photos. The liver was surprisingly delicious. The sorbet was explosion of joyful ( I almost never order sorbet at restaurants after been taught by a French cooking chief how easy it is to make at home. But I feel no regret by ordering this tasty sorbet. ) Interior design is cosy, and the house has a welcome look from street. Service has always been great. Not very formal but friendly and helpful.
Delicious French food!
Excellent food - we ordered the duck and cod. Both were wonderfully cooked and tasteful. Wine we selected was above average - mind you we did not ordered an expensive one. The environment inside is cosy and kept as simple as possible. Service was helpful and efficient. I would go again for sure.
Back in Heaven. Probably the beste French restaurant in Oslo. Friendly and professional staff.
